Grade 4 learner in the library, reading individual and in pairs..

Library in 2016

These are grade 5 learners doing group reading in the library. They are divided into five groups.

The teacher (Miss B.N. Cele) first read the story for them and ask them questions to improve the listening skill. Then divide them into 6 group each group have their own book. They choose one learner to read for them and they discuss about the story.

 

Mrs Chiyi do the same activity but in English Lesson on the above picture.

Here are the grade 5 learners today in the library doing group reading. There are divided into 5 groups.

CONGATULATION MANGCOBO YOU'VE DONE A GREAT JOB

The school entered the library competition. The school library recieve the 3rd position as you can our libratian Miss C.N. Ngcobo received those prices.

On the 8th of October 2013, the Head Office (UMgungundlovu) came for teacher development. Ms Ngidi and Mrs Gumede. Educators were developed on the following
- Library orientation
-Information skills
-How to develop and implement a reading programme
-Intergrating the library with the school curriculum.

These are grade 7 learners with their educator (Miss C.N. Ngcobo) who is also a teacher librarian at school. Promoting how to use the library with the learners. Here they are doing the World world puzzle.
